We arrived at this serene harbor at 8:00 a.m. with low lying clouds. After a leisurely breakfast, we walked off the the ship and into town. Fishing remains the primary industry and you can savour the soft fruits of the labor in restaurants serving smoked trout and fish stew (which was my goal for lunch!)

One other goal was to see the 34 huge granite eggs which represent the eggs of each of the existing birds in this area. The Eggs of Merry Bay are made of Chinese granite. Anni expected something a bit more "artsy". She was very disappointed! We explored the rest of this town and found this little in the middle of this tiny village called the Hotel Framtid, which was so beautifully decorated and fancy for this town. We dined on Seafood Stew and beer. Perfect! The highlight of our visit! As you can see from our happy faces!!

It was a beautiful evening back on the ship!
