June 11, 2022 - Runavik, Faroe Islands

Seas are calm as we can feel that we have entered an estuary of the Faroe Islands and must be getting close to Runavik it turns out that the captain has been able to make up a lot of distance and we dock at 11 AM.

Unexplored, Unspoilt and Unbelievable - This is how they describe the Faroe Islands. This cluster of 18 islands are sandwiched between Norway and Iceland. Anni and I will be exploring the area during our 2 PM excursion "Scenic Faroes & Pancakes".

Even though it’s formal night, we make a reservation at The Grill and enjoy a quiet evening together and go to the show afterwards. Guest entertainer, Steve Stevens: "Around the World and Back Again" - A show of music and comedy about his global travels - he was so funny and very talented!
